A groundbreaking ceremony was held for Nanling Center, a new landmark of automobile service complex in the north of Guangzhou. In witness of this blessed event in the high-quality development of the automobile business service industry in Huadu District, more than 100 people attended the ceremony, including leaders of the District People's Congress, the District Government, the District departments, and Huacheng Street, and representatives from Nanling Group, Beijing Jiaotong University, Guangdong Automobile Dealers Association, well-known automobile brand owners, insurance and financial institutions, part of business associations in Huadu District, and companies along the automobile industry chain.

As a key government project of Huadu District in 2025, the Nanling Center project is invested and constructed by Nanling Group, which has been developed in Huadu for 27 years; the project has an investment of more than 200 million yuan, a planned area of 15,000 square meters and a building area of 45,000 square meters. It has been planned to attract many mid-to-high-end brands, and is estimated to generate a revenue of more than 2 billion yuan a year and create more than 1,000 jobs.

Located in the core area of CBD in Huadu, Guangzhou, the project is close to the Future City on Xiuquan Lake and to Huadu Avenue, only 10 minutes drive to Guangzhou North Railway Station, the high-speed rail hub and 15 minutes to Baiyun International Airport. Enjoying the benefit of a 100 billion yuan automobile industry cluster, and the efficient interaction with the airport economic circle and the industrial chain of the Greater Bay Area, the project is positioned to connect the city's business, culture and transportation hubs to create a place for the convergence of industrial resources in the Greater Bay Area.

At the groundbreaking ceremony, the leader of Huacheng Street and the person in charge of the Nanling Center project delivered speeches, expressing their firm confidence and high hopes for the future development of the project. The relevant leader of Huacheng Street said that this event was part of the effort of the District Party Committee and the District government to build a "12635" modern industrial system with Huadu characteristics for the integrated development of automobile trade, service industry and tourism. The launch of the project was also an important step taken by Huadu District to accelerate the promotion of the "Intelligent and Connected Vehicle Demonstration Park" and to improve the consumption quality of the "Automobile Industry Corridor" of Huadu Avenue; it signals the accelerated upgrading of Huadu's automobile industry is injecting new momentum into the creation of a new benchmark in northern Guangzhou for industry-city integration.

A number of industry leaders such as Nanling Group, Haocheng Group, and GAC Aion have been attracted in recent years to settle down and develop in Huacheng Street, and the Street is now home to 4S stores of more than 160 car brands, including Huawei, BYD, and Audi. As one of the top 100 of automobile dealer groups in China, Nanling Group matches perfectly with the industrial development direction of Huacheng Street, and the cooperation between the two has a good foundation and huge room for development. “The landmark building of Nanling Center, an automobile service complex, is to be built in Huacheng Street; and the Street will be consistently attentive to the well-being of the investor and mind the business of the project as our own; we will take the initiative to reach out, provide front-line service, and coordinate with top priority, so that we can promote the early completion, production and effectiveness of the project with better service, more practical measures and stronger guarantees," said the relevant person in charge of Huacheng Street.

The person in charge of the Nanling Center project said that the start of construction of this project was not only an important step in the transformation and upgrading of Nanling Group, but also a firm response to Huadu's strategy of "put industries first, and base the District on manufacturing". The ultra-efficient work style of Huadu District Government and Huacheng Street is seen during the whole process from planning and approval through landing of the project; it is not mere simplified process and accelerated speed, but also reflects the District’s respect for industry and desire for innovation. In the future, Nanling Center will rely on the advantages of the air-rail intermodal transport hub to build a full-chain ecology integrating "R&D, commercialization and services", making itself a place where the wisdom of the 11 cities in the Greater Bay Area converge, so as to help Huadu become the "innovation source" of the automobile industry in the Greater Bay Area.

At the event, representatives of six brands, HIMA-Wenjie, Hongqi, FAW-Volkswagen Audi, FAW Toyota, Great Wall Motor and IM Motors, signed tenancy agreements with Nanling Automobile. The brands expressed their optimism about the incomparable location advantages and forward-looking layout of the new landmark of Nanling Center, and confidence in the future Huadu automobile service industry.

It is reported that Nanling Center in Huadu District will rely on R&D and innovation cores to build a new energy technology R&D center and an intelligent network test base, with focus on cutting-edge fields such as battery technology iteration, to accelerate the commercialization of technological achievements; in the field of mid-to-high-end brand clusters, the center aims to create immersive consumption scenarios that meet the needs of personalized automobile services through high-end automobile exhibition and trade spaces, smart maintenance workshops and customized modification centers; it will build a brand new smart supply chain hub, which, supported by a digital warehousing system and an automated logistics and distribution system, can achieve accurate inventory management and improved distribution efficiency to empower the industrial chain to reduce costs and increase efficiency; and its cross-sector business ecosystem will innovatively integrates automobile-themed commercial blocks and 24-hour dynamic consumption scenes, where automobile culture exhibitions, immersive test drive experiences, etc., will be introduced to form a cross-sector ecosystem of "automobile + culture, business and tourism".
