On February 14, Huadu District 2023 Seminar on Policies for High-quality Development of Foreign Economy and Trade (Overseas Exhibition Session) was jointly held by Huadu Bureau of Science, Industry, Commerce and Information Technology and CCPIT Huadu, briefing more than 300 foreign trade enterprises in the District on relevant policies related to matters such as participation in Canton Fair and overseas exhibitions, expanding business to overseas markets, application for subsidies to participate overseas exhibitions and exploring international market channels. Many enterprises remarked that strong policy support of the government greatly boosted the enterprises’ confidence in opening up the international market and attracting overseas orders to jointly promote high-quality development of Huadu trade.

The gradual optimization of pandemic controls, especially the reinstatement of offline Canton Fair and increasing easiness to participate exhibitions home and abroad, sounds like a bugle call for us to explore new markets and seek business opportunities. ” Fu Shaohua, marketing director of Guangzhou Kingsons Leather Products Co., Ltd., who has years’ experience in Canton Fair and overseas exhibitions, said that they were eager to go out and see for themselves, and that the company was currently planning to participate in more than a dozen overseas exhibitions in Hong Kong, Europe and RCEP countries, the last of which would be the focus of market development in the future. Luo Dan, general manager of Guangzhou Kane Travel Supplies Co., Ltd., said that the company had been looking forward to this Canton Fair for a long time and was well prepared even though this was its first time in Canton Fair; it was hoped the reinstatement of offline Canton Fair would help to export advantages; and they were also looking forward to go to overseas fairs, comprehensive or professional, to continue exploration of the global market.

Yi Qiang, head of an exhibition organizing company in the District, started his non-stop visits to enterprises from the very beginning of the New Year, to learn about the needs of enterprises, and to introduce overseas exhibition plans.
