On February 21, Huadu District held the 2023 key work deployment meeting, with focuses on concentrating efforts to tackle key or difficult tasks for breakthroughs, so as to promote high-quality economic and social development of the District. Xing Xiang, Party Chief of the District, attended and spoke at the meeting, which was presided over by Li Xiaodong, Deputy Party Chief and mayor of the District. At the meeting, Xing Xiang led members of the four sets of leadership groups of the District to sign commitments for 89 key or difficult tasks in the District, resolved to overcome difficulties, and promote the implementation of key tasks.

　　Xing Xiang underlined that since this year was the first year to fully implement the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress, the whole District must maintain the fighting spirit, seize the moment, and be practical in overcoming difficulties with "unconventional" intensity and “sprinting speed”, striving to have a good start in the first quarter, and lay a solid foundation for the accomplishment of the goals and tasks for the whole year. Firstly, have the courage to take responsibility and implement responsibility. District leaders should act as good "leading geese", and take the lead in implementing the system of contracted task, and form a good work model featuring full cooperation between the District leader contracting for the task and original person in charge of the task.
