Today's Huadu News. The long-expected 133rd Canton Fair was grandly opened on April 15. This session of Canton Fair has three phases; and the first phase lasted for 5 days from April 15 to 19, which, mainly focuses on industrial themes, had 20 exhibition areas for 8 categories of products including electronics and home appliances, machinery, building materials, hardware tools and others.

　　The Ministry of Commerce decided to reinstate in full scale Canton Fair and other offline exhibitions in 2023. The news came as a most welcomed blessing for enterprises in Guangzhou. They cherish the Canton Fair, which has been an important way for Chinese enterprises to get in touch with and to participate in international market competition and an important display platform for foreign trade, more than ever before, and are most reluctantly to miss this "once-in-a-lifetime" opportunity. Because it is what they have been waiting for and looking forward to for three years. According to information we get from the enterprises we visited, this session of Canton Fair will witness significantly higher number of exhibitors with unprecedentedly high enthusiasm from Huadu District than before.

　　In recent years, many enterprises have struggled to survive under the pressure of the Covid-19 pandemic, and they were all in desperate hope that the pandemic end and production and life return to normal as soon as possible. The reinstatement of offline exhibitions offers an opportunity for "rebirth". Huadu is a power house of manufacturing, where more than 60% of enterprises are export-oriented enterprises. CCPIT of Huadu District, an investment and trade promotion organization serving export-oriented enterprises, has always placed helping enterprise development at the heart of its work and focused on precise services to provide targeted all-round services. After visits to enterprises all around the District to learn about the operating conditions of each of them and feel their pulses, it took the initiative to carefully guide and provide advice for the enterprises in application for booths in Canton Fair; in particular, since the application rules of Canton Fair has been changed after the pandemic, it actively played the role of a voluntary publicist of the exhibition, and taught step by step the enterprises how to apply for the Canton Fair. It is not surprising that the Huadu delegation stand out in the 133rd Canton Fair, surpassing its own record in the Fair in both the number of exhibitors and the number of booths. Statistics show that 204 exhibitors from Huadu, with 681 booths, can be founded in this session of Canton Fair. Among them, there are 567 general booths and 114 brand booths, doubling the number in the 126th session that was right before the pandemic and ranking first among all Districts of Guangzhou.

　　The person in charge of an electronic technology enterprise in our District that participated in Canton Fair for the first time said that he established contact with several customers on the first day of the exhibition, and he also saw many innovative products from competitors, and that the company would further increase research and development efforts to bring more and better products to customers in the next session.
