A signing ceremony was recently held for the strategic cooperation agreement between the People's Government of Huadu District and PCI Technology Group in the PCI Future Community, Science City, Huangpu District. The ceremony was attended by Xing Xiang, secretary of the CPC Huadu District Committee, Zheng Zhongmin, member of Standing Committee of CPC Huadu District Committee, Head of United Front Work Department of Huadu, and Director of Management Committee of Economic Development Zone, Liu Wei, board chair and CEO of PCI Technology Group, and Chen Jiao, Executive President of PCI Technology Group. The cooperation agreement was signed by Zheng Zhongmin, member of Standing Committee of CPC Huadu District Committee, Head of United Front Work Department of Huadu, and Director of Management Committee of Economic Development Zone, and Lin Chao, Vice President of PCI Technology Group.

Before the signing ceremony, the leaders of both sides visited the Future City - Great Bay Area Metaverse Innovation Demonstration Center and PCI Future Laboratory, learned in detail about the progress of PCI Technology in the construction of intelligent city, application of intelligent transportation, application of intelligent urban rail, large model algorithm factory, energy-saving environmental control technology, etc., and listened to an introduction of the park's spatial planning, industrial planning, investment attraction, and supporting services.　　 

At the signing ceremony, Secretary Xing Xiang said that having a world-class international air-rail hub, Huadu was the core area in the development plan of the northern growth pole of Guangzhou, and also a core pivot point of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area cooperation and development. Huadu would like to take it as an opportunity to provide PCI Technology with richer application scenarios for cultivation, development and innovation, and PCI was expected to give full play to its own advantages in intelligent technology, asset operation and industrial chain, and deeply participate in Huadu's smart city construction, public security management, digital asset management and other fields of development, working together with Huadu government to push forward the high-quality development of Huadu's AI and digital economy industry.

Board chair Liu Wei said that PCI was a leading intelligent transportation enterprise with global industry influence. The cooperation between PCI and Huadu had a good foundation and bright prospect. By giving full play to its rich experience in artificial intelligence technology research and development, smart city construction, industry chain integration, park operation and other fields, the company would, relying on the advantageous resources of three-dimensional transportation such as airports, high-speed railways and inter-city railways in Huadu District, provide all-around science and technology support to Huadu's building of a comprehensive hub of "air-rail intermodal transportation", and empower the construction of the northern growth pole. 

According to the agreement, the two sides will cooperate in the development of cutting-edge technology, scenario applications, and industry chain construction in such areas as smart city, rural revitalization, digital economy, and industrial ecology, and will establish a win-win strategic partnership, deepen the cooperation in multiple fields and levels, to accelerate the cultivation and formation of new types of productivity, and write a new chapter of cooperation between government and enterprises.
