On May 25th, the 20th anniversary of Hongli Zhihui was held in our District under the theme of with the theme of Innovating for the Future After Chasing Light for 20 Years. Since its establishment in May 2004, Hongli Zhihui has upheld the two-wheel-drive strategy of advanced manufacturing and technological innovation, and forged ahead on the road of chasing the light of LED. Hongli Zhihui's next step is to actively strengthen the "one body, two wings" industrial development strategy, accelerate the cultivation of new quality productivity, and enrich the colorful life of hundreds of millions of people with the light of science and technology.

More than 1,000 people attended the event and witnessed this milestone moment, including leaders of Huadu District of Guangzhou, Economic Development Zone of Nanchang, Jiangxi Province, and State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Luzhou, Sichuan Province, and representatives from Hongli Zhihui Group's member companies, suppliers, customers and partners, and employees.

Hongli Zhihui was founded in 2004 in Huadu, Guangzhou. The rapid development of Hongli Zhihui in the past 20 years is the result of riding with the times, but it is also unthinkable without a good business environment. "I would like to thank Guangzhou Party Committee and Municipal Government, Huadu District Party Committee and District Government, and the local Party committees and governments of the our subsidiaries for their support and assistance in the development of Hongli Zhihui. Especially in the past 20 years, the constant care and support from Huadu District Party Committee and District Government for the growth and expansion of us effectively guaranteed the initiation of the group's industrial development in the critical period, facilitate our introduction, cultivation and retention of talents, and provide fertile soil for the development of the enterprise. We are convinced that in the future journey of building a growth pole in the north of Guangzhou, Hongli Zhihui will continue to contribute to the social and economic development of Huadu District," said the chairperson of Hongli Zhihui Group.

Over the past 20 years, the Huadu District Party Committee and District Government have been a generous policy supporter to the company, giving high-tech enterprises tax incentives, additional deductions for R&D expenses, VAT rebates and other policies to enable enterprises to "travel lightly" and better focus on development. Moreover, the new talent policy of "Ten Rules for Intellectual Huadu" vigorously promoted by Huadu District has helped Hongli Zhihui solve problems such as household registration, housing, and children's education of core talents, and retain high-level talents.

Achieved industry leadership

The board chair of Hongli Zhihui Group said that the 20 years of Hongli Zhihui is also the 20 years in which China's LED industry develop rapidly from scratch. As one of the earliest LED enterprises of China, and with strong support of the state, Hongli Zhihui has promoted and witnessed the prosperity of China's semiconductor industry. In 2011, Hongli Zhihui was listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange; in 2018, it recorded an operating revenue exceeding 4 billion yuan, becoming a mainstream lighting supplier of the world; in 2020, it won the first prize of the State Science and Technology Advancement Award; and in 2022, it found a place among the top 3 lighting LED packaging manufacturers in the world in terms of revenue.

In recent years, while consolidating the market share of its main business of semiconductor packaging, Hongli Zhihui has accelerated its penetration into the new display and the automotive lighting markets, achieving an operating revenue of 3.759 billion yuan in 2023. Hongli Zhihui has stepped up its scientific research and innovation, with its annual R&D expenses accounting for more than 5% of its operating revenue in the past three years. And at the same time, focusing on advanced manufacturing, it has five production bases in Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Dongguan, Nanchang and Zhenjiang in the country, with a total area of more than 600,000 square meters and advanced production lines.

The company is thriving; Hongli Zhihui, adhering to the idea of "encouraging innovation and pursuing excellence", manage to make products that exceed market and customer expectations with industry-leading packaging technology. From the anti-sulfurization technology of LED lamp beads to the first mass production of EMC products in China, the company has helped customers improve efficiency and reduce costs, cooperated with suppliers for win-win and coordinated development, and promoted the growth of upstream, midstream and downstream of the industrial chain together.

Strive to take another step forward to a new chapter. At the event, Hongli Zhihui unveiled its "one body, two wings" industrial development strategy, that is, taking the semiconductor packaging as the body to provide basic support, making the automotive lighting and electronics, and the Mini/Micro new display as two wings to provide development thrust, and promoting at the same time the accelerated development of five major actions: "activating the driving force of operation, stimulating the creativity of talents, enhancing scientific and technological innovation, enhancing capital boost, and enhancing risk control".

In the field of semiconductor packaging, Hongli Zhihui will give full play to its technical advantages and industrial chain integration capabilities in the field of LED lighting, and expand its competitive advantage in its main business of semiconductor packaging through precise investment of resources; will continue to tap into the advantages of industrial chain integration, and invest resources to improve its capacities in R&D of new products and new projects of automotive lighting and in marketing at home and abroad, so as to build a high-quality brand of China; and will rely on years of deep cultivation and accumulation in the field of Mini/Micro LED, to accelerate the expansion to key application fields such as direct display, backlight (VR), and vehicle, further attract high-quality customers at home and abroad, strengthen internal management, expand market share, and improve profitability.

The new products launched at the event demonstrates Hongli Zhihui's confidence and determination to promote the implementation of the "one body, two wings" strategy. The Hongli ADB headlights, which are leading the new trend of intelligent lighting and safe driving, can adaptively switch high beam light type according to road conditions; the Mini LED taillights with high-definition animation display effect can convey the vehicle's driving intention more clearly; and the Hongping Micaijing P0.7 has such advantages as ultra-high resolution and contrast, high energy efficiency and low energy consumption, and unlimited size through splicing. Technological breakthroughs and innovative products will help Hongli Zhihui increase its market share and industry influence, enter into new fields, and win new development.
